CHAGEE Celebrates “Infinity” For Brand’s 8th Birthday

CHAGEE may be a newcomer to the Philippine milk tea scene, but in just three months it has already turned heads with its Instagram-ready cups and freshly brewed drinks. Globally, though, CHAGEE is far from new. The brand is celebrating its 8th anniversary this month, and Philippine stores are joining the celebrations with the rest of the world.

At a special dinner held at Michelin Selected restaurant Oak & Smoke, CHAGEE gathered friends, influencers, media, and “cha masters,” or the highest level of loyal customers. Over good food and tea, the brand shared how it is marking eight years of blending traditional tea culture with modern innovation.

From Eight to Infinity
As CHAGEE turns 8, the brand is reimagining what this milestone means. This year’s theme, “From 8 to Infinity ∞,” plays on the number’s shape and symbolism. It speaks of prosperity, boundless growth, and endless possibilities. For CHAGEE, the journey continues, guided by the idea that their customers make friends through tea.

CHAGEE Country General Manager Sonny Tiong shared, “This goes beyond business. It’s really about creating a community and moving forward tea culture here in the country.”

“When you look at the number 8 from top view, it looks like two people clinking glasses. That’s the power of tea. When tea is prepared and crafted with intention, it can bring people together,” he added.

New Look, Same Great Taste
As part of the celebrations, CHAGEE is introducing a brand-new cup design with a refreshed logo. The new look is filled with motifs that tell the tea shop’s story, from “the Ship that carries [their] vision to the Tea that connects hearts across cultures.” CHAGEE’s eye-catching cups have become one of their staples, and they are continuing that with this new design.

CHAGEE Deputy General Manager Oliver Rabatan noted, “We wanted a piece of art that instantly reminds you why you first fell in love with CHAGEE.” He added that the theme “From 8 to Infinity” and the new cup design represent their “limitless ambition to grow CHAGEE into a long-lasting and a hundred-year-old brand.”

While the cup may change, the beloved tea remains the same. To honor their best-selling BO•YA Jasmine Green Milk Tea, the team at Oak & Smoke created a special dessert: a light BO•YA-inspired cheesecake topped with grapes and almond crumble, served to attendees.
