Every piece tells a story, and every story deserves to live on. These are the words that Minted MNL lives by. Led by passionate collectors who see collecting as the highest form of appreciation, Minted MNL began with a strong focus on numismatics, or the study and collection of coins, paper money, and medals, and has since opened its doors to all kinds of collections.
Twice a year, they host an event where collectors of all kinds can connect, exchange ideas, and learn from one another. On November 22–23, Minted MNL is holding its Year-End Show, a celebration of creativity, heritage, and the art of meaningful collecting.

During a special Minted MNL media dinner, the team shared what to look forward to at the event and why they believe collecting is a truly special way to preserve history:
1. Celebrating Collecting of all Forms
From paper bills and historical artifacts to rare toys and Pokémon cards, collections of all kinds are welcome at Minted MNL’s Year-End Show. Founder Sigrid Carandang started the group because of her passion for coin collecting, and it has grown larger every year. She believes that each item, whether a coin, medal, or cherished object, has its own story and that Minted MNL provides a space for collectors to share those stories.
2. Educational Talks & Programs
Over the two-day event, attendees can look forward to engaging talks, panels, and activities. A key addition this year is a special focus on young collectors and kids, with programs designed to spark passion, deepen knowledge, and nurture the curiosity of budding collectors.

3. Exclusive Exhibits and Exciting Auctions
At every Minted MNL show, expect to see a unique showcase of rare and historically significant pieces, some of which will be up for auction. Among the lots to watch out for are a La Republica Filipina newspaper from 1898 and several 5000 Piso gold coins from 1977 bearing the likenesses of Ferdinand and Imelda Marcos.
4. Grading & Authentication Centers
If you’re a collector who’s just starting, or have items that need authenticating, or just want to learn more about the art of grading, there will be on-site services for authentication, grading, and submissions during the two-day year-end show.
5. A Welcoming Community of Collectors
Sigrid Carandang started Minted MNL as a simple passion project, and over the years it has grown into a dynamic community of collectors eager to share, showcase, and celebrate the pieces they’ve curated. Today, Minted MNL serves as a welcoming hub for enthusiasts to connect, and its Year-End Show gives collectors the space to present their collections with pride and engage with others who share their passion.
