
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — The cast is set.
A galaxy of tennis stars are expected to converge in Manila for the International Premier Tennis League (IPTL) this December.
Top-ranked Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) player Serena Williams is confirmed to play in all dates of the Manila leg of the IPTL for the Philippine Mavericks, while Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) world number eight Rafael Nadal of the Indian Aces is set for two match days only.

Williams will headline the Philippine Mavericks in their second season alongside Mark Philippoussis, Richard Gasquet, Jarmila Gajdosova, Borna Coric, Sabine Lisicki, Treat Huey, and Milos Raonic, who replaced crowd favorite Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.

Nadal will lead an Indian Aces team composed of Agnieszka Radwanska, Sania Mirza, Gael Monfis, Rohan Bopanna, Fabrice Santoro, and Ivan Dodig.
The Singapore Slammers will also grace the court in Manila with Nick Kyrgios, Corlos Moya, Dustin Brown, Karolina Pliskova, Belinda Bencic, and Marcelo Melo.
Tournament favorites the UAE Royals will be represented in Manila by Ana Ivanovic, Tomas Berdych, Kristina Mladenovic, Daniel Nestor, and Goran Ivanisevic.
Other stars set to participate are from expansion team the Japan Warriors, who are comprised of Vasek Pospisil, Leander Paes, Daniela Hantuchova, Lucas Pouille, Kurumi Nara, and Marat Safin.
The Manila leg of the IPTL will take place from December 6 to 8 with all matches being played at the Mall of Asia Arena.
