Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — Some roles are so iconic that they stick with actors for the rest of their careers.
Jack Sparrow will always be associated with Johnny Depp, Superman with Christopher Reeves, Katniss Everdeen with Jennifer Lawrence, and Harry Potter with Daniel Radcliffe.
For fan favorite X-Men mutant Wolverine, that man is Hugh Jackman.
Unfortunately, the next X-Men film is the last time Jackman will portray the popular Marvel character.
In an interview on Kelly and Michael on Tuesday (June 9), Jackman revealed that a talk with Jerry Seinfeld gave him the idea of finally hanging up the claws.
Jackman has appeared as Wolverine in every X-Men film to date, with roles ranging from being the lead character to just a quick cameo for the fans.
The popular mutant is set for at least one more appearance with Hugh Jackman portraying the character as the lead in the untitled sequel to The Wolverine.
