
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — Senior Supt. Bartolome Tobias on Wednesday (June 10) left as spokesperson of the 150,000-strong Philippine National Police after holding the post for less than two months.
Tobias was reassigned to become the senior police assistant of Interior Secretary Manuel Roxas II.

Chief Supt. Wilfredo Franco, who was assigned as officer-in-charge of the Directorate for Police Community Relations Group last April, will temporarily take over the position.
Franco will soon be replaced by Chief Supt. Wilben Mayor, who is on-leave until June 18.
Mayor, who was named PNP spokesman in September 2014, is the officer-in-charge of the Directorate for Intelligence.
