Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — Singer and veteran comedienne Elizabeth Ramsey passed away on Thursday morning (October 8) at 83 years old.
Her manager, Carlo Orosa, said Ramsey suffered a stroke about a month ago. She was confined in a hospital and was unconscious for at least three days before she passed away peacefully in her sleep.
Ramsey was regarded as the country’s “Queen of Rock and Roll” and “Original Queen of Comedy.”
