Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — After a last minute trade in the 2016 Philippine Super Liga (PSL) Draft at the Mall of Asia Music Hall on Friday, La Salle standout Ara Galang will be reunited with her old schoolmates in the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers.
Galang was selected by F2 as the top overall pick in the 2016 draft class, after trading with RC-Cola Army for the right to pick first.
The highly-touted prospect will reunite with her former Lady Spiker teammates such as team captain Cha Cruz and Aby Marano, among others.
The second pick of the day went to the Petron Tri-Activ Spikers, who selected former NCAA Best Attacker CJ Rosario of Arellano University.
Rosario previously played for Petron in the Invitational Conference.
