Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — Prepare to shed tears — both blissful and heartwrenching ones — as the movie trailer for Jojo Moyes’ novel Me Before You was released on Thursday (February 4, PHT).
Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke plays the quirky Louisa Clark, who changes the life of quadriplegic Will Traynor, played by Hunger Games actor Sam Claflin. In the process of helping him get over his personal struggles, she finds herself renewed and inspired, too.
Fans of the book would be pleased to know that the film trailer stayed true to the novel.
Moyes introduced the trailer as a “wonderful adaptation of my book.”
The best-selling novel was first published in 2015, with its sequel After You released in 2015. Could there be a movie sequel as well?
The film directed by Thea Sharrock also stars Jenna Coleman and Matthew Lewis.
Me Before You is set to hit theaters worldwide on June 3, 2016.
