Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — The University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) announced that the scheduled men’s basketball games on October 16 have been cancelled due to inclement weather.

According to a letter from the office of UAAP Season 79 President Fr. Ermito De Sagon to the UAAP board and men’s basketball coaches, the games have yet to be resecheduled.
The affected games are the second round match ups between the University of the East (UE) Red Warriors and the Far Eastern University (FEU) Tamaraws, as well as the Adamson Soaring Falcons and the Ateneo Blue Eagles.
Both games were originally slated to be played at The Arena at San Juan.
