
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — The Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) is accepting applicants for the upcoming 2017 Rookie Draft on October 29, officials said.
The deadline for submission of applications and requirements for Filipino-foreign aspirants is on September 1, 2017, the PBA Commissioner’s Office said in a statement Monday.
Local-born aspirants have until October 12, 2017 to apply, it added.
After the preliminary list of Filipino-foreign applicants is released, there will be a month-long period to contest an rookie hopeful’s eligibility.
The PBA Draft Combine will be scheduled from October 23 through 26. The final list of candidates for the Rookie Draft will be announced on October 27, 2017.
The Rookie Draft on October 29 will be held at Robinsons Place Manila.
