Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, August 1) – Local government units in the province of Benguet including Baguio City have suspended classes on Tuesday, August 1 due to heavy rains, officials from the Philippine Information Agency in the Cordillera Administrative Region said.
Pre-school only:
Kapangan, Benguet
Pre-school to elementary:
Tublay, Benguet
Pre-school to senior high school:
Baguio City
All levels:
Itogon, Benguet
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said in its 7 a.m. report that cloudy skies with thunderstorms and light to moderate rain spawned by the southwest monsoon known as Habagat will prevail over provinces the Ilocos region and the Cordillera Administrative Region.
