Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, July 20) — Public Works Secretary Mark Villar is the only Cabinet member whose net worth has gone over a billion pesos, according to his latest Statements of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth (SALNs).
Malacañang released the summary of SALNs of the Cabinet members Thursday afternoon.
Villar, whose net worth is P1,409,149,497 is the son of incumbent Senator Cynthia Villar, and former senator and real estate tycoon Manny Villar.
He is followed Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez, whose net worth only reached hundreds of millions: P351,859,283.
On the other hand, the list showed Agrarian Reform Secertary Rafael Mariano is the poorest Cabinet member, with a net worth of only P273,629.58.
The SALNs of Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea, Special Assistant to the President Christopher Go, Presidential Chief Legal Counsel Salvador Panelo, and Environment Secretary Roy Cimatu were not yet released.
