Passenger bus falls off Alabang flyover, some 31 injured

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, October 1) — A passenger bus fell off the Alabang flyover in Muntinlupa City Sunday evening injuring at least 31 people, transport officials said.

Reports from the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said the driver of a Cher Transport bus lost control when the brakes failed along the Alabang viaduct.  The bus fell off the Skyway ramp.

Passengers suffered minor injuries and were brought to the Muntinlupa Hospital.

By 7:46 p.m., the bus had been cleared off the area.
