Tim Yap proposes to boyfriend Javi Martinez Pardo

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — “When you have a good thing, you have to make it last forever.”

These were the words of socialite and entertainment columnist Tim Yap moments before he popped the question to his events director-boyfriend Javi Martinez Pardo on Thursday.

In a video from actress Lovi Poe’s Instagram account, Yap pulls out a jewelry box and calls for his lover, who emerged from the crowd amid shrieks of glee.

Actress Isabelle Daza posted a shot on Instagram of Yap getting down on one knee and holding up an engagement ring, leaving Pardo in shock.

Meanwhile, G3 San Diego congratulated the newly engaged couple with a photo on Instagram, showing the two happily sharing a kiss.
