Sa Wakas: A Pinoy rock musical
“Sa Wakas” is a bittersweet musical about heartbreak, featuring the songs of rock band Sugarfree. Starting this month, the musical is having a restaging in celebration of its critical acclaim. Watch the songs come to life in theater format this Friday, Jan. 13, at 8 p.m. and on Sunday, Jan. 15, at 3 p.m. at the Power Mac Center Spotlight in Circuit, 1226 Makati. Ateneo Chamber Singers presents: “Tatlo”
The Ateneo Chamber Singers hosts a concert entitled “Tatlo,” also featuring international choirs: the SYC Ensemble Singers from Singapore and the Gaia Philharmonic Choir from Japan. The three choirs will be performing all together and as individual groups, along with ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Gerard Salonga. “Tatlo” will be on Saturday, Jan. 14, at 7 p.m. at The Theater at Solaire, Aseana Ave, Parañaque. “Aliens vs. Robots” is an art exhibit that explores diversity of expression in terms of technique, perception, and image presentation through mechanical reproduction, all through a contemporary perspective. The exhibit features contemporary artists Cos Zicarelli, Clarence Chun, Patrick Cruz, Jon Cuyson, John Fortes, Pow Martinez, Marcius Noceda, and Carlo Ricafort. “Aliens vs. Robots” will be on Saturday, Jan. 14, at 6 p.m. in Artery Art Space, 102 P. Lights, Camera, Action: Movies Pop Quiz
Movie geeks will enjoy “Lights, Camera, Action,” a pop quiz about movies, actors, and film adaptations.
