Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — The Baybay Leyte Regional Trial Court has ordered police authorities to arrest alleged drug lord Rolan Kerwin Espinosa for charges of murder.

The court also ordered the arrests of Jesus “Loloy” Tolin and Brian Anthony “Tony Pet” Zaldivar Gates. The order was issued on January 5.

No bail bond was recommended by the court.

Espinosa’s legal counsel, Atty. Lailani Villarino, said she will file a motion in court not to transport him due to security risks.

Espinosa has named the alleged protectors of his drug trade in Region 8 before the Senate.

The Palace has lobbied for his inclusion to the Witness Protection Program, saying it is practical to protect people who provide the government vital information to help win the war on drugs.

Espinosa is currently under the custody of the National Bureau of Investigation.

CNN Philippines’ correspondent Gerg Cahiles contributed to this report.
