San Miguel lists ₱10-B bonds to local investors

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, October 4)— Diversified congolomerate San Miguel Corporation issued fresh bonds worth ₱10 billion, it announced Friday.

This is a part of its ₱60-billion borrowing program previously approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission

The notes will have a five year maturity.

SMC has several large subsidiaries, including the San Miguel Brewery, San Miguel Food and Beverage, Inc., SMC Global Power and San Miguel Holdings Corp.

It has recently been awarded the ₱734-billion project to construct the New Manila International Airport in Bulacan.

SMC shares closed at ₱164.00 on Friday, up by 1 percent.
