
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, June 5) – A magnitude 5.1 earthquake jolted Calintaan, Occidental Mindoro on Friday night, said the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
The earthquake was recorded at 9:37 pm. Phivolcs said that there are expected aftershocks.
Intensity IV was felt in San Jose, Occidental Mindoro and intensity II in Malay, Aklan.
Instrumental intensities were also recorded in other areas of Occidental Mindoro and Aklan, as well as some places in Antique and Quezon.
