
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, April 23) — There are now 1,072 COVID-19 cases in Quezon City, according to the Department of Health Wednesday.
The numbers include a total of 112 recoveries and 101 casualties.
The total number of confirmed cases with complete addresses in Quezon City is now at 913, while the total number of validated cases by the QC Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit and District Health Offices is 763.
As of Wednesday, a total of 177 swab tests were conducted in the city’s community-based testing centers of the city.
There were also 97 quarantine violators who were apprehended for breaching the enhanced community quarantine protocols.
The Department of Health confirmed on Wednesday 111 new cases of the coronavirus disease, the lowest reported number of new infections in two weeks.
The Philippines now has 6,710 cases of COVID-19.
The country last recorded a slower increase in infections on April 8, with 106 new cases. The day before, there were 104 new cases.
