
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, March 11) — Three more Filipinos in Singapore have tested positive for the novel coronavirus disease or COVID-19 Wednesday, according to the Singapore Ministry of Health.
The first of the three new confirmed cases is a 37-year-old male Filipino who is a Singapore Work Pass holder. It was reported that he went to the Philippines from February 11 to 19, and again from February 23 to March 2 to visit a relative with pneumonia who eventually died.
A 35-year-old female Filipino, who is a relative of the 37-year-old man, also tested positive.
The third of the recent confirmed cases is a 42-year-old female who also flew to the Philippines on February 27 to March 2. She tested positive for the coronavirus disease on March 11.
The three are reportedly now confined in isolation at different health facilities in Singapore.
This raises the total number of infected Filipinos in Singapore to six.
