Fuel price rollback on 4th straight week

Prices of basic goods likely rose by 2.4-3.2 percent in February, with cheaper electricity, fuel, and food costs softening price movements, a unit of The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas says.

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, February 10) – Heads up, motorists! Fuel companies have announced a reduction in prices of their petroleum products this week.

This is the fourth consecutive weekly rollback for fuel prices.

Seaoil already cut down its gasoline prices by ₱0.30 per liter at 6am today.

Its diesel prices have gone down by ₱0.60 while kerosene was brought down to ₱1.40 per liter.

Same price cuts will apply tomorrow morning for Shell and Petro Gazz.

Price movements in world oil markets triggered this drop in local pump prices. Other fuel retailers have yet to announce if they will also implement similar rollbacks.
