Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, January 27) — Despite reports saying otherwise, Nadine Lustre is still part of VIVA Artists Agency (VAA).
In a statement released Monday, VAA denied that the actress had split from the talent management company, saying Lustre ” has a valid and subsisting Management Contract” with them.
VAA released the statement in response to earlier reports that Lustre would be self-managing her career.
“Under the law, Nadine cannot unilaterally withdraw from her contact wit VICA,” said VAA.
The management company added it would take appropriate action against anyone in breach of her existing contract.
Lustre has not released a comment in response to VAA’s statement.
Lustre recently figured in the news after she and now ex-boyfriend announced their split earlier this month.
