
Kibawe, Bukidnon (CNN Philippines, January 21) — Police and soldiers recovered Friday 11 unexploded vintage bombs from the campus of an elementary school in Bukidnon.
The 60-mm mortars were unearthed by workers who were digging in preparation for the construction of a stage in Tumaras Elementary School in Kibawe town. Workers immediately reported their discovery to police.
The bombs were turned over to the police’s explosive ordnance division with no untoward incidents, the police report said.
