Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, September 28) — President Rodrigo Duterte has approved to resume limited face-to-face classes for five more degree programs that require hands-on experience, according to the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).
In a statement on Tuesday, CHED said the President approved to allow in-person classes — while under modified general community quarantine — in the following areas of study:
Engineering and Technology
Hospitality/Hotel and Restaurant Management
Tourism/Travel Management
Marine Engineering
Marine Transportation
Based on its data, CHED said only a “small percentage” of students and educators in the aforementioned courses were affected by COVID-19.
This is a breaking story.
