
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, May 23) — A magnitude 5.2 quake struck off the coast on Zambales just after noon on Sunday.
According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the temblor’s epicenter was located 94 kilometers west of San Antonio and was tectonic in origin.
Intensity I, or scarcely perceptible shaking, was felt in Quezon City, Marikina City and Olongapo City.
No damage is expected from the quake, although aftershocks may be felt.
