Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, May 19)— Vice President Leni Robredo has received her first COVID-19 vaccine shot.
She announced this on her Facebook page on Wednesday shortly after she was inoculated with the AstraZeneca-made vaccine.
Robredo revealed she got vaccinated in Quezon City together with some members of her staff at the Office of the Vice President.
She said they belong to the A3 priority group comprising persons with comorbidities.
“Done with my 1st dose of the vaccine,” the Vice President shared. “Now being monitored. Everything has been seamless.”
Robredo joins the list of government officials — part of the priority sector — to get inoculated against the coronavirus.
Earlier this month, President Rodrigo Duterte also received his first dose of the Sinopharm vaccine.
