
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, March 17) — National champion Alisson Pertichetto will represent the country in the 2021 World Figure Skating Championships slated March 22 in Stockholm, Sweden.
The Philippine Skating Union confirmed the 23-year-old figure skater’s participation, adding she is the lone Filipino and Southeast Asian athlete to compete in the prestigious tilt.
Pertichetto participated in many international competitions, notably winning the 2017 Egna Spring Trophy and 2018 Bosphorus Cup title.
The Filipino-Swiss figure skater is also a two-time Southeast Asian Games medalist, copping a bronze medal in the 2017 Kuala Lumpur meet, and improving into a silver medal finish in the 2019 Manila edition.
