Senate recommends removal of Parlade as NTF-ELCAC spokesman

The Senate is recommending the removal of Lt. Gen. Antonio Parlade Jr. as spokesman of the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict. In yesterday’s plenary session, senators adopted the measure saying that the constitution bans active military officers from holding another public office.
