‘Thrilled and humbled’: Robredo chosen as Harvard Hauser Leader

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, September 1)— Former Vice President Leni Robredo has been selected as one of the Hauser Leaders at Harvard Kennedy School’s Center for Public Leadership.

Both the institution and Robredo herself confirmed the development on Thursday.

Now on its eighth year, the Hauser Leaders Program brings together renowned practitioners from various sectors — public, nonprofit, and private — to engage with students, faculty, and the rest of the Harvard community.

The Angat Buhay chairperson expressed gratitude for being part of the Fall 2022 cohort.

“I’m both thrilled and humbled [to] be given this space to share my advocacies and experiences, alongside this roster of distinguished leaders from various fields and sectors,” Robredo wrote on her social media post. “What a blessing it is to be returning to Cambridge for this opportunity.”

Robredo was chosen alongside former US Representative Jane Harman, The Washington Post columnist David Ignatius, United Negro College Fund president and CEO Michael Lomax, and LRN and The HOW Institute for Society founder and chairman Dov Seidman.
