Oil firms roll back LPG prices

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, September 1) — Oil firms on Wednesday announced another rollback of LPG prices.

Petron Corporation said it would lower the price of its household LPG by c1.75 per kilogram starting Sept. 1 at 12:01 a.m.

Phoenix Petroleum would also slash the cost of its LPG by ₱1.75 per kilogram, effective 12:01 a.m. of the same day.

Solane would cut the price of its LPG by ₱1.62 per kilogram effective 6:00 a.m.

Petron and Phoenix, on the other hand, would roll back the prices of auto LPG by ₱0.98 per liter and ₱0.95 per liter, respectively.

The price adjustments “reflect the international contract price of LPG for the month of September,” Petron said.

Cooking gas became cheaper for the fifth straight month.
