Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, July 29)— It’s official: Kai Sotto will be back in Australia.
The Filipino basketball star is set to return for a second pro season with the Adelaide 36ers in the Australian National Basketball League, the league announced on Friday.
Sotto also confirmed the development, captioning his social media post with “Let’s run it back, Adelaide 36ers” and the hashtag “Year 2.”
Sotto played for the squad during the 2021-22 season, where he averaged 7.52 points and 4.48 rebounds in just over 15 minutes per game.
The 20-year-old center then declared for the 2022 NBA Rookie Draft, but was not selected by any team.
