Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, July 15) — Miss Supranational Philippines 2022 Alison Black is raring to compete for the country’s second crown.
She shared photos of herself on Thursday, looking regal in a fully embellished gown and head dress designed by Erjohn Dela Serna, ahead of the coronation night on Friday (Saturday, Philippine time) held in Malopolska, Poland.
“I can feel the excitement in every fiber of my body! I’m so proud to be Miss Supranational Philippines, and fingers crossed, tomorrow I’ll #BringBlackTheCrown,” the caption read.
Black will be competing against 70 other contestants.
The 23-year-old professional ballerina who started her own ballet school landed in the Top 3 of the talent competition after showcasing her elegant dance. She is also part of the Top 10 for the Supra Fanvote segment.
Black hopes to win the Philippines’ second Miss Supranational crown after Mutya Datul in 2013.
CNN Philippines will air the coronation nights of the 13th edition of Miss Supranational and the sixth edition of Mister Supranational at 12 noon on July 16 and 17, respectively.
Apart from the free TV telecast, CNN Philippines will also have replays of the global competitions: Miss Supranational 2022 on August 12 at 9:45 p.m. and Mister Supranational 2022 on August 11 at 9:45 p.m.
