Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, July 12) – One person died while five others are missing after a wall collapsed in Tagaytay City in Cavite province on Monday night.
The wall collapsed due to heavy rainfall. The incident involves stay-in construction workers in one of the projects in Barangay Kaybagal Central, according to the Tagaytay City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office.
Two individuals have been rescued by disaster personnel from the site of the accident and were brought to the hospital, the city office said.
Retrieval operations for the five more missing victims are ongoing.
