Suspect in killing of 24-year-old woman engineer in Bulacan arrested, faces robbery with homicide charges

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, July 11) — The suspect in the killing of Princess Dianne Dayor, whose body was found in a creek on July 5, three days after she was reported missing, has been arrested and is now facing robbery with homicide charges, the Bulacan Police Provincial Office reported.

Darwin De Jesus, a 31-year-old welder and resident of Brgy. Tabang in Guiguinto, Bulacan was arrested after an eyewitness identified him, police said. He is now detained at the Malolos CPS Custodial Facility.

Dayor, who was an industrial engineer, was last seen on July 2 on her way to work at a firm in Pulilan town.

Three days later, the 24-year-old was found dead along a small creek in the city, with her phone and wallet missing.

Dayor was the only one who did not safely return home among the reportedly missing women in Bulacan in recent weeks.
