The number of people currently ill with COVID-19 has climbed to over 13,000 over the weekend. The positivity rate or the percentage of people who test positive for the virus among all those tested is now at 9.6%. The World Health Organization has said that the positivity rate needs to be below 5% for 14 days for it to be considered under control.
