Air transport regulator allows higher fuel surcharge amid oil crisis

As a response to skyrocketing prices of jet fuel, the Civil Aeronautics Board recently expanded its fuel surcharge matrix from Level 7 to a new maximum Level 21. This means airlines may collect higher fuel surcharge if the oil crisis persists.
