Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, May 5) — The Anakalusugan party-list announced on Thursday that its second nominee, former Marinduque Rep. Regina Reyes Mandanas, has died.
Two days ago, her husband Batangas Gov. Dodo Mandanas said her leg was amputated to stop the spread of a sudden infection. He added that her immune system had also weakened due to the exhausting campaign season.
The party-list’s first nominee is Ray Florence Reyes and its third is Raymundo Roquero.
