PCG retrieves bodies of 5 children who drowned in Taal Lake

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, May 4) — The bodies of all five children who went missing after swimming in the vicinity of Taal Lake have been recovered, the Philippine Coast Guard confirmed on Wednesday.

Authorities were able to retrieve the lifeless bodies of the children aged 7 to 12 within 24 hours.

The children from Barangay Sto. Toribio, Lipa City, Batangas were reported missing while swimming in the vicinity waters off Barangay Looc, Balete, Batangas on Tuesday afternoon.
