Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, April 29) — Past Miss Universe winners Demi-Leigh Tebow and Iris Mittenaere have arrived in Manila in time for the Miss Universe Philippines 2022 coronation night where they will serve as hosts alongside Pia Wurtzbach.

“I’m so happy to be here!” Tebow wrote on her Instagram page as she shared snaps of her first day in the country.

Mittenaere also documented her Philippine adventures on her Instagram stories and shared behind-the-scenes photos of the pageant rehearsals.

South African Tebow won the Miss Universe title in 2017 while French Mittenaere took it home a year earlier when the finale was held in Manila.

A total of 32 candidates will vie for the coveted Miss Universe Philippines 2022 crown which will take place at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. The winner will represent the country in the next Miss Universe edition.
