Fuel companies announce major price hike again

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, April 25) – Oil companies on Monday announced a big increase in prices, following last week’s rate hike.

Caltex, Cleanfuel, Flying V, Petro Gazz, Phoenix, Petron, PTT Philippines, Seaoil, Total, and Unioil will be raising per-liter prices of gasoline by ₱3 and diesel by ₱4.10 effective 6 a.m. this Tuesday, Apr. 26.

Kerosene prices will also go up by ₱3.50 per liter tomorrow, according to Caltex, Flying V, Petron, and Seaoil.

The per-liter net increases of gasoline, diesel and kerosene prices stand at ₱15, ₱25.65, and ₱21.10 as of Apr. 12, according to the Department of Energy’s oil monitor.
