Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, April 11) — The Automobile Association Philippines (AAP) has flagged off the first-ever Asia-Pacific DiRT Rally 2.0 Championship where racers from the region compete in three-round live lobby races.
Eight national sporting authorities in the Asia Pacific region are represented by their top drivers in the race whose first round started April 9. Round 2 will begin on April 30 and the last round in May, the AAP said in a statement.
A racer must be a national of the country that he represents and must have a PC or PS4 with a full version of the DiRT Rally 2.0 video game.
After three rounds, the overall winner will be named as the first-ever Asia Pacific Digital Rally Champion, AAP said.
