Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, March 31) – The national capital region will stay under the most lenient COVID-19 alert level for at least two more weeks, along with nearly 200 other areas nationwide, Malacañang announced on Thursday.
Acting presidential spokesperson Martin Andanar said Metro Manila will keep its Alert Level 1 status until April 15.
Also under the lowest alert level classification until mid-April are the following:
– Cordillera Administrative Region: Abra, Apayao, Kalinga, and Baguio City
– Region I: Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, and Dagupan City
– Region II: Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, City of Santiago, and Quirino
– Region III: Aurora, Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Angeles City, Tarlac, Zambales, and Olongapo City
– Region IV-A: Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Lucena City
– Region IV-B: Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, and Puerto Princesa City
– Region V: Albay, Catanduanes, and Naga City
– Region VI: Aklan, Guimaras, Capiz, Bacolod City, and Iloilo City

The Palace said all other component cities and municipalities not mentioned will be classified under Alert Level 2.
