Tourists flocking to beaches again as restrictions ease

On this day two years ago, the island of Luzon, home to over 50 million people was placed on lockdown to contain the spread of COVID-19.

Two years later – no more checkpoints, just vaccination cards – and a nationwide push for more people to get immunized and boosted.

And it’s again starting to get more fun in the Philippines.
