It’s the Senate’s turn to tackle the proposal seeking to grant Philippine citizenship to two-time PBA best import Justin Brownlee.
That’s because the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas aims to include Barangay Ginebra’s resident import in Gilas Pilipinas for the sixth and final window of the FIBA World Cup Qualifiers.
That’s happening here in February next year.
We now have with us Senator Francis Tolentino, he’s the Justice and Human Rights Committee Chairman.
That Committee has jurisdiction over naturalization matters.
