She was nominated alongside Indonesian pop singer Niki, K-pop boy group Tomorrow x Together, Thai-Italian R&B singer SILVY, and Japan’s THE RAMPAGE from EXILE TRIBE.
The 25-year-old actress, who began her showbiz career after winning “Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky 7” in 2017, released her hit single “Amakabogera” last year as part of her third album “MPOWERED.”
“A huge thank you po to @mtvema for recognizing my song and giving me the privilege to be with the other amazing artists, nominated in this category!” said Entrata in an Instagram post on Thursday.
“At sa mahal kong kabogeras, di tayo aabot dito kundi dahil po sa inyo, maraming salamat po,” she added.
[Translation: To all my fellow kabogeras (stunners), we will not reach this point if not for of you. Thank you so much.]
The winner of the category will be based on online votes.
Meanwhile, K-pop superstars BTS and Blackpink also earned nominations in the MTV EMA.
