Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, October 12) — West zone concessionaire Maynilad Water Services Inc. will carry out service interruptions from Oct. 12 to 17 due to high water demand, the company said in an advisory Wednesday.
Customers in portions of Manila, Bulacan, Malabon City, Valenzuela City, Quezon City, Caloocan City and Navotas City will encounter water supply problems during those days between 6 p.m. and 4 a.m.
“We apologize for the inconvenience,” it said.
Maynilad urged customers to store enough water whenever supply becomes available. Once the service resumes, it said consumers must “let the water flow out briefly until it clears.”
The company said its mobile water tankers are making rounds in affected areas to provide potable water, while stationary water tanks have also been deployed in several locations.
