Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, January 10) — Vogue Philippines will finally happen this year!
The Philippine edition of the popular fashion and lifestyle magazine will be launched by publisher Condé Nast and Mega Global Licensing, Inc (MGLI).
“We’re thrilled to launch our 29th edition of Vogue in the Philippines, a country with a growing luxury fashion market and a vibrant creative scene. The title will launch as a digital-first media brand with a monthly print edition and will serve as an exciting addition to our global Vogue network,” said Mark Grindel, managing director for global brand licensing, in Mega’s website.
Vogue Philippines will be an English-language magazine and is set to launch in September 2022.
Meanwhile, MGLI’s chairman and chief executive Archie Carrasco said in Mega’s website: “The Filipino talent has been ready to be received by the world for decades now and with certainty, I can say that the market, too, is finally ready.”
MGLI is the sister company of One Mega Group, which publishes MEGA Magazine, Lifestyle Asia, BluPrint, OneMega.com and Modern Parenting.
Vogue, which was founded in the United States, published its first issue in 1892. In Southeast Asia, Vogue currently has Thai and Singaporean editions.
