
Metro Manila, Philippines — Two individuals died while 10 others were hurt due to the combined forces of Tropical Storm Enteng and the southwest monsoon, the disaster management office reported on Monday, Sept. 2.
All the casualties were from Central Visayas.
According to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, 14 families or 63 people in Central Visayas were affected.
A landslide was also seen in the region.
Ten houses, meanwhile, have been damaged.
In Metro Manila, several areas have been submerged in flood.
As of 7 a.m., Enteng was estimated to be 100 kilometers off Daet, Camarines Norte or 115 kilometers off Infanta, Quezon.
