Most Filipinos ‘satisfied’ with Marcos performance – SWS

Metro Manila, Philippines – Most Filipinos are satisfied with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s performance, based on a Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey result released on Thursday, Aug. 1.

Of the 1,500 Filipinos who participated in the survey nationwide from June 23 to July 1, those who said they were satisfied was 55 percent, five points higher than the score in March.

Fifteen percent, meanwhile, were undecided while 28 percent were dissatisfied. These were lower than the 19 percent and 31 percent, respectively, in March.

Marcos’ net satisfaction rating – which is computed by subtracting the dissatisfied from the satisfied – was +27.

The SWS classified the net rating as “moderate.”

The president’s net satisfaction rating, SWS said, increased in Visayas and Mindanao.
