
Metro Manila, Philippines – Tropical Storm Dindo has left the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), the weather bureau said on Monday, Aug. 19.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Dindo was spotted 670 kilometers northeast of Itbayat, Batanes – already outside PAR or the weather disturbance monitoring space – as of 10 a.m.
Moving northeastward, Dindo has maximum sustained winds of 65 kilometers per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 80 kilometers per hour.
The weather bureau did not raise any storm alert.
